Carols at daybreak and friends coming home herald the start of the festive season.
The long walk to Cidade, with Andy for company, combined exercise with gossip, fashion and the happenings in Sg and B'lore.
A lazy morning followed by getting out the christmas tree, ornaments, decorations.
Evening swim and a friend came a-calling, suggested a walk on the beach. Being a sucker for a walk and the ocean, I couldn't resist.
Ended up at Baga, less tourists, heightened security at the road leading to Titos' and people wearing Santa caps, parking in the open field at Baga...so many changes in just a month.
A walk on the beach, rough seas, geography lessons, star gazing took us to Souza Lobos' and back...also the many dinner invites.
The Karaoke shack was a greater temptation then the Brittos' pastries. I now know I can't match Elvis for "Are you lonesome tonight". Bonny at the shack is good!
Had to skip Brittos due to the late hour, exercised my vocal cords some more on the drive back and a brief stop over at the renovated Dona Paula jetty and finally home.
A long day. Easily one of the best sundays I've had in years. Good times.
